Charlotte Church (born February 21, 1987) is an opera star hailing from Llandaff Wales in the United Kingdom. Welsh singer/songwriter best known for the classical and pop music of her time. She has over 10,000,000 albums sold in total. She debuted the #1 hit song Crazy Chick. Church would like to play Hermione Grenger in Harry Potter Films, however Church would like Emma Watson in Harry Potter to be Hermione. Emma Watson took the place of Church. Church is the son of Maria Cooper and Stephen Reed. Charlotte along with her mother Stephen Reed left the family when Charlotte was only two years young. Her first musical breakthrough came at the age of 11 when she performed Andrew Lloyd Webber's Pie Jesu over the telephone on the television show This Morning in 1997 followed by her appearance on the ITV's Big Big Talent Show in 1997. Church also appeared on the episodes Have I Got News For You in 2002,2003,and in 2012 (the third time in which she was host and the first as youngest panellist in show history). In 2005 on a sketch from The Catherine Tate Show she was the character she played, Joannie Taylor. The actress appeared for a brief time in 2008 on Katy Brand's Big Ass Show in a short sketch.
